TANYA

Thrive

Hi, I’m Tanya.

Movement has been woven into my life for as long as I can remember. From competitive gymnastics at the age of 10 to marathons, bodybuilding, Spartan races, and countless other challenges, I’ve always been drawn to exploring what the human body is capable of.

My passion for movement naturally evolved into teaching and coaching others. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching competitive volleyball athletes, working as a Physical Education teacher within the school division, and supporting individuals in a local gym setting. Whether in a classroom, on a court, or in a fitness space, I’ve always found joy in helping others discover their own strength, confidence, and connection to movement.

For years, movement was about pushing limits, building strength, and chasing goals. But as I’ve stepped into motherhood, my relationship with fitness has evolved.

Today, movement is still an essential part of my life, but it looks different. I’ve learned to listen more closely to my body and honor what it needs in each season. Some days that means strength, some days restoration, and some days simply creating space to breathe.

What fascinates me most now is how movement can support our health from the inside out—helping us build resilience, vitality, and longevity for the years ahead.

When Thrive entered my life, something clicked.

It wasn’t just another workout. It felt like the missing piece—a beautiful combination of movement and breath that supports the body, calms the nervous system, and creates space to reconnect with yourself.

Because fitness isn’t only about how we move.

It’s about how we feel, how we heal, and how we continue to thrive through every season of life.

Leading others into a deeper relationship with their bodies has become one of my greatest passions. My hope is to create spaces where people feel empowered to move, breathe, grow, and trust the wisdom of their own bodies.

With love,
Tanya

The Inner Shift

From a lifelong interest in health and wellness, my journey truly deepened in 2018 when I made a commitment to take my own well-being seriously. That decision led me to become a certified personal and group trainer in 2019, and from there, my passion only continued to grow.

Working with women in all stages of life, I began to notice a significant gap in support, education, and understanding—particularly during the peri- and post-menopausal years. Through my own experience of years spent self-advocating and researching, I recognized how vital it is for women to feel informed, supported, and not alone during these transitions.

That realization shaped my purpose.

I am deeply committed to empowering women with the strength, knowledge, and confidence to navigate these phases of life with clarity and resilience. My goal is to be both a trusted source of information and a supportive presence—helping women better understand what’s happening in their bodies and how to thrive through it.

In 2023, I became a certified menopause specialist, further integrating this focus into my daily personal training practice.
